Architectural Work

Joseph Evans has worked in consultation with Architects, on both contemporary and traditional projects manufacturing a variety of wrought iron or steel fixtures and fittings, including staircases, gates and balustrading.

Working in association with National Heritage, the Lottery Commission and local Councils, projects to date include park and hotel gates and railings, bollards and security grills.

In recognition of the highest standards of design, finish and attention to detail, Joseph Evans has received a Craftsmanship award from the East Anglian Association of Architects.

Local Town and Village Signs

Town and village signs are clearly very ‘significant’ to their locations. The importance of the impression created by a sign depicting local history, legend, folklore and nature shouldn’t be underestimated.

In creating such designs, Joseph Evans undertakes careful research consulting local and parish councils, schools and village/town inhabitants. A hand-drawn sketch is produced initially and once agreement has been reached the work will begin.

Local town and village signs with which we have been associated include, Woodton, Hedenham and Bedingham.
